I'll try to get some more clips of it up in the next few days. Kinda busy at the moment. I'd like to get at least one decent 80s metal clip yet. Hopefully one that shows off the clean channel, too.

I boost the original 5150, too. It's for a tonal change, not an addition of gain.

your booster seams super transparent, you can defiantly hear the character in the Duncan custom.

i'd say notch the mids up a little more can cut some more low end (might not need to do that with a different guitar, not a fan of duncan customs :\)

Damn, this is over a year old...

cujo, I sold my Recto and only have this amp at the moment. Under the mic, they're not terribly different, but I prefer the midrange and overall channel switching versatility of the 5150 III. I had a 2 channel Rackto, so I only had 2 useable tones in the past. This time, I have 3. I've had a 5150 and 5150 II in the past; this is my favorite of the bunch so far.

I was digging for evh3 clips n came across this. How does evh compare to a rectifier?
