Thanks again! Regarding recording, I just throw a mic in front of the cab and never really think too much about it. My room isn't treated at all, and the recording volumes are low, so I just run with whatever tone I get that day. Regarding the girl, she's actually 25. She's gonna be 26 in 2 months, actually.

just doesnt come out sounding nowhere near that good.

I run a high pass filter at 60 Hz and a low pass filter at 12.6 kHz. If the low end is really boomy for whatever reason, I'll run a multiband comp slightly hitting the area between 30 Hz to 250 Hz. Nothing real drastic. The main thing that helps out is that I bought iZotope Ozone. Drums are standard Drumkit From Hell (old program I have) with a free one-shot snare and one-shot kick. Trilian was used for bass, but anything can be used. This was actually the first time I used two bass guitars in a mix (Ola method). One up front with a clean tone and one real gritty that's pushed further back.
