SAT switch on a Naked?

I know a couple people have them. How do they affect the amp? Obviously a little more gain. I remember the SAT on the BE100 dropping the volume a bit. That may be helpful since the Naked is really loud. I play with a 50w head usually, with the master at 11:00. In my limited time playing it so far, I'm not sure I could even play the Naked at 9:00, which is where the amp seems to kind of open up and I start getting the tone I want. I'm not a big fan of attenuators, but maybe I should give the stfu or bad cat unleash a try?
 
Yeah more gain and a volume drop. That's really the effect.
 
Thanks Dave. I had better luck last night getting some great tones at more manageable volumes. I'll think about it and email you on turn around time if I decide to go with it.

Anyone who has the SAT switch on your Naked, do you use it much? Do you prefer on or off in general? I don't really need more gain, but I could maybe see using the SAT and turning the gain control down a hair, maybe get a little better volume control that way?
