Not that anyone gives a damn, but, when I see guitars like this, I become nauseous, literally. Same goes with most 80's era music and films. Basically, anything that reminds me of the 1980's makes me feel ill. Why this is, I don't rightly know? Any girl I dated in the 80's had to do two things... 1. Get rid of the goofy perm and makeup. 2. Never play 80's pop music in my presence. It wasn't difficult, as there were still plenty of 70's era gals around, who appreciated creative songwriting. Like most, I fell hard for Randy Rhoads' playing. After Randy died, I didn't take much interest in what happened after that. Motley Crue, Poison, KIX, White Lion, Dokken, RATT, Winger, etc...

Oh then you want TGP ...lol

In my case you can blame it on George starting in 1982.
My Tiger Charvel GAS has never dissipated.
As for the majority of the 80's hair bands i could care less really.
If i never hear another Poison or Crue song id be perfectly okay with that.
Folks that came of age in da 80's will be dead in another 10 to 20 years anyway.
Yes were that fuggin old. You fuggers that grew up in da 90's are next.
Have a nice day. ???

Yup, that exact picture really messed me up as a kid and a Lynch tiger is on my build list. Woo hoo!!

Played thru the 100 watt JMP 2203 today for the first time.
Gotta say the Fishman Fluence Classics are rapidly becoming my new favorite pups.
So versatile & so many different sounds. They got it going on.

You must be a lot of fun at parties…

I know what you mean. The last party I recall attending, some overgrown adolescent slid Motley Crue "Theater Of Pain" into the mix... Per my request, the host removed the CD and threw it into the garbage disposal!

Don't get me wrong, there were some truly great writers in the 1980's. Some of the most tasteful of that era... Rik Emmett, Chris DeGarmo, Jake E. Lee, John Sykes, Vivian Campbell and Adrian Vandenberg.

I can only speak for myself but its a really decent guitar. Fit n finish plus CNC is all spot on. This one is brand new/NOS from 2019. Had .009's i put .011's on it with minimal amount of setup. This is the kind of guitar you just make a couple tweaks here & there and its exactly how you like it.
I have an original 1987 Charvel that i love but they are different animals each in their own way.
This Pro Mod neck is a bit more chunky in a good way. 25.5 scale like my ESP's.
The Fishman actives are super cool. Kinda like an EMG but way more clear and open airy sounding. And not sterile.
All in all it works for me and is a good score.
I don't know too much about Russell/Satchel but i know this guitar had to be the way he wanted it and i must say im impressed.
Hats of to the boys at Fender/Charvel.

Was that you playing the guitar in the demonstration?
That tapping & licking shit was the taproot of
why the dude's head EXPLODED like a 'preppy'
tomato in the 80's SciFi GORE film "Scanners".

Reminds me of Municipal Waste..
SUBSTITUTE CREATURE.

guitar demo, not me. Do i really have to splain that ?

I have one and it's great. Highly recommend a brass block on the Floyd.
yep got one on the way. I just don't know why they don't make the 37mm big brass stock.
I guess for aftermarket sellers.
Ive done big brass to my 87 Charvel/ESP Purple Tiger & Kamikaze & EVH Wolfgang.
Difference is night & day.

You mean you didn't take the amp back in time and make a clip? That demo was pretty good.
sounds real good for a modeler.
that guys name is Cameron Cooper i believe.
Real good for a young guy and self professed Charvel junkie.

Why did the bassist leave the band anyway? Tired of the same old shtick 10+ years into it?

Yeah he's a pretty good player. Fantastic vibrato and nice clean picking hand. Licks aren't anything i haven't heard but I like the way he puts it together. Bit of EVH, some Malmsteen etc..

Did you give Municipal Waste "Substitute Creature" a listen?
Those dude's were sorta of the early thrash/whatever stuff.
Green Jelly etc, Little Pig
Runnin' around with them Suicidal Tendencies dudes tryin' to do something different.

37mm Big brass is installed. What a great but simple upgrade. Really adds some depth to the guitar.
