No, actually. I didn't admit anything of the sort 'cause it's simply not true.
I was sus on one of the group due to his generic, always-positive-posting M.O. and whilst watching him I monitored the entry of the rest of 'em, one-by-one, over several weeks.
A week or so ago this dude turned up in two reports of suspicious behaviour, after which I cranked up the heat on the original dude, seeing as he was the most-active, to reply to me on the board and yesterday via PM, something he'd suspiciously avoided, not answering my posts and "@mentions".
His failing to respond even after this saw my deciding to knock 'em all on the head in one fell swoop just as JBT beat me to the banning of the one under discussion here, so I simply carried out the rest of the task as I'd intended.
So, if there's an argument that I sat on anything it could only be at-worst the few minutes I took to read the updates to this thread.
I'm only bothering to spell it out for you 'cause you mischaracterised the position I was in. The collecting of links, examination of posting histories and attempts to converse were the fair, logical course of action in order to determine culpability / honesty / whether or not they were human, IMHO, but you instead assumed that this meant I was sitting on something. I won't be coerced or shamed into issuing bans to those who don't deserve 'em, hence my approach. Stand-up members deserve no less. The second I'm sure about such things, it's bot-be-gone... unless JBT beats me to the punch somehow as he did today. I felt a bit robbed, actually, 'cause I was literally seconds away.
