Maleman special ordered the rainbow flag tolex on all of his Blades. He also had Billy Blades install the custom Glory Hole with a picture of Richard Simmon's mouth painted around the hole.

And it was worth every penny!!

They sound pretty decent, and that's because they are a mostly a ripoff of other great amps.

Yeah i agree, those cathode bypass caps are unusually small. Make me wonder if that is an error.


EDIT: Yeah as I'm looking at the amp, and judging by the size, I'd be willing to bet the bypass caps are actually 0.68uf

It also looks like he has wired the heaters with bare buss wire and it looks like they run right on top of the chassis ready to make contact.... POOF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! direct to ground for your heaters.

so much wrong there. Safety ground should have it's own dedicated connection to chassis, the un-insulated ground wires B+ connected to an under rated switch (typically 30V DC), and WTF is the purpose of shrink tubing if you don't shrink it?

Probably not much use, other than getting the PI cooking. I've seen people mod their JCM800's to add a PPIMV, they claim they can dial in different sounds between the two MV's.

Whats funny is if the dude wasn't such a dumb dumb, he would have wired the resistors between the B+ and the switch. At least this way it limits the current down to non-lethal levels.

The Henning CB uses a PPIMV in the back of the amp with channel MV's on each side. PPIMV all the way up is out of circuit.

While the amps don't sound bad, the point is the build quality is not safe and not even as good a some hobby builders and this guy is trying to run a legit business....pretty scary. While some of his skills has improved alot hasn't since his Electrocution special amp pics that made the rounds a few years ago. I would be scared to turn the pots' on those amp just waiting for a jolt of voltage.

It not like he is trying to sell these for next to nothing, and it looks like people have bought them, I wonder how many???? Would you give a $1000.00 to $1,500.00 of your money for the above quality???
