I made one in 1975 using a horn from an abandoned Voice of the Theater enclosure, driven by my Fender Champ. Made a footswitch out of a project box and everything. The Champ eventually blew up, but Rocky Mountain Way sure sounded alright to my teenage ears, and certain girls thought I sounded like Peter Frampton. This was OK in 1975.

Mark, why did you use the Suhr pedal for this video vs a your SE+ or Axe-Fx? Great playing and pretty good tone :D

Someone at TGP asked the question can a Riot do some older Scorpion tones? SO I thought I'd give it a go.

I'd say it's close enough for somebody needing to cover some Scorpion tunes with a clean amp. Sounds pretty cool.
 
Sounds great! I love having diversity at my fingertips. It's a good thing when you can get new and different tones. I love your normal channel 2 gain tones but it is fun to be able to get a more authentic early 80s Scorpions tone if you want. It's inspiring!
