I tried so many Amps now, except for a few like Wizard, Hermansson, Larry.
Will i try more Amps in the future to find a better one? Hell yeah. Will i find a "better" one? I doubt it.

Hmm. Wizards, Larry's, and Hermanssons not really for that type of tone. Better off getting a solid state for that nasty tone. Sounds great in a mix, but Way too fuzzy for my tastes isolated

There comes a point, through the same cab, when most very high gain amps sound the same. Feel different….depends on what you’re playing, chugging most feel similar to me.

Sounds great but for me I’ll NEVER use an unmodded 800 or Recto in my life under no circumstances . I’ve heard those too much for me to get joy out of playing them. But if I did play a classic gig I’d use a 2203 for overdrives . But sounds great

Yeah none of those amps are really for that tone - the super gained out, fuzzy OSDM sound

If I was playing this kind of music i would get a Randall RG or VH140C or maybe even a crate stealth or something like that, that's actually trying to get those tones

One issue with the solid state stuff is volume
My XXX and DSL dwarf my Valvestate head easily

I had a H&K Grandmeister 40 and have a Blackspirit 200 and if it doesn't do anything else it does do a fuzzy OSDM kinda tone quite well on the Ultra channel.
(Blackspirit 200 is for sale by the way)

Yeah. One guy that also surprised me with tone from good amps was that yeshuda guy. He knew how to perfectly dial a good amp to sound like shit

My favorite is that braintheory guy that claimed every amp besides the ones he owned sounds "artificial/plastic"

Then his youtube vids were posted here sounding like a microwave filled with bees and he silently removed himself

I like sam, but he never shared a high gain clip with me. He stopped talking to me when i commented on Yehuda's video. I was just offering to teach him how to dial in an amp. It is crazy to buy a Larry or wizard and get the absolute worst tone from it.

Sam's awesome, and at least they both posted some clips

Everyone's on their journey of toan discovery or whatever the fuck, what irritates me is the guys who talk a whole bunch of shit and don't even apparently play guitar

MFers driving up prices so they can take "family pictures" in their mancave and post them on TGP is one of the big reasons why prices for used stuff has been completely fucking retarded since COVID

All these posers had a bunch of free time and stimmy checks and decided they wanted to ruin our hobby
