Scumback and Hellatone?

I posted about wanting to pair two WGS with my Scumback BM75 (M Cone-65w) but I was wondering how hellatone compares and if anyone has mixed either WGS or Hellatone with Scumback.

Hellatones are just broken in G12H30 70th Anny's or V30s.

That's what drew me to them. Jim said that the 30's wouldn't help my cause so what about the Hellatone 60? I'm leaning more towards WGS.

Yeah, the Hellatone 30s might not be a good choice, but the Hellatone 60s or WGS Veteran 30s might work if put on the bottom.

I tried a Hellatone 60 with a Scumback M75 65watter in my Mesa 2x12 going into my 5150 III 100 watt head.

The Hellatone overpowered the Scumback and became the prominent speaker in the mix. I felt that they didn't melt together too well. I went with 2 M75s after that and the tone was much more to my liking. There are a few players who enjoy this V30/M75 combo though. Never hurts to give it a try if you have a Hellatone 60 sitting around.

Hellatone 60L + Scumback Blackback H75 - 65watter. This mix CUTS! I play my 5153 50 watt through it in my Forte 3D S/V and it's the sound in my head for years. At my last show, 3 songs in, some dude came up to me between songs and asked, "What in HELL speakers do you have in that cab?" I told him and he said, "Dude, YOU are cuttin' through like I've never heard. And what the hell cab is that??" The smile on my face never left. My search for a 2x12 and speakers to match has ended.

I put the 60L on the bottom and the BH 75 on top. First, I think you need to get the H series Scum as they are just a bit louder than the M's; the M's sound fantastic from the clips I've heard, but Jim recommended with my setup that I go with an H.

You are the man! I'm glad a couple of guys have tried this mix. It's definitely helping I'm my search.
