Hmm... I thought they played Elmwoods?

I wonder why I haven't seen any metal bands playing Elmwoods yet... Perhaps it's too expensive for them?

I'm guessing it was probably a venue / promoter provided backline and the band just brought their guitars?

they probably do, but this is Australia... a place they don't come very often etc.. maybe they just played what they could get their hands on

The only time they've ever used an Elmwood was in the studio for the last album. I'm not sure how much they even used it though, because the tone is awful.

They were using the Elmwoods when I saw then on that tour with War Of Ages. They sounded horrendous. I couldn't imagine wanting to play on anything that sounded like that.
