My latest project is this Selmer PA 100! It will be a three channel amp with a footswitchable gain boost that kicks in an extra gain stage on each channel.
It will have a tube buffered loop and a lot of voicing options and as always it will be built point to point using NOS mustard caps and Iskra resistors! :)

Here are some clips:

First test of the amp using my Hagström Swede.

Showing some metal sounds. Guitar straight into the amp, nothing in the loop.

Overall demo of the amp using my Greco EGF-1000. I’m running a TC G-major 2 in the loop for some delays. The cab is a Malmberg 4×12 with Celestion Greenbacks.

And last of all I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! :)

Man the MAGIC you do on these Rebuilds!! :worship:
Amazes me.
Amp sounds KICKING!!

These amp builds are my favorite threads. You sir are a master!! :rawk:

I have to agree that your threads are my favorite. Such awesome builds. I hope someday to have one.

I agree 100%. You do masterful work Henric! Love it! I always visit your threads to wet my chops.

Wouldn't the mustards normally make an amp too dark or warm for metal?

as usual, amazing work and tones. one day I will own one of your amps!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're just getting better and better Henric! Awesome!!! Merry Christmas!

Is it possible to buy one of these?

Of course it is, this one was custom ordered though. I'm working on a production amp that will be available in the US next year if everything goes well!

Sorry for the late answer! The plan is to make a four channel amp with a lot of functions and features, the price isn't set yet. But it will of course be hand built just like this one on turretboards, but totally from scratch with special designed transformers etc. I will let you know when it's time ;)

Henric,
That sounds great. Would it not be wiser to hit the US market with an affordable one or two channel amp first? I have seen ventures fail trying to go too big initially. I know if you did this I would be in for one. Four channels I think limits your target market significantly. Allot of members on here love great sounding simplicity. Rig-Talk I think would be a key target for you initially. Fortin, Friedman and others used this forum to catapult their line.

I agree but this amp sounds wicked. The string clarity is unparalleled. When you get your production amp up and running I'm going to have to get in line.

Thank you for your input!
I'm fully aware of that this first model will not be for everyone. It will be for those who want something really special and want to have total control of their sound. It wont be cheap either since I will build it point to point by hand using NOS components. I really like handicraft and when you can see that someone has put his heart in his work, and that's what I want to do with this product. Even if it might not be the way I will gain most money, because it's not the money that is my driving force. I have several production models in my head that will be released later if everything goes well.
