Found this marshall cab that looks like it has been beat to shit near me with T75s. I know those are hated speakers, but you guys think i should buy this cab to put atop my mills? I am usually picky about a cab being in good condition, but i have the mills that is in great condition already. Somehow the marshall with torn grill cloth kinda looks sexy.
The speakers in the mills are H30 annies, so do you think this would make a good mix of cabs?

shit. Just noticed that this is 16 ohm. I need 8 ohm, cuz mills is. I don' tknow what 4 oohm out into 8 ohm and 16 ohm cab would sound

No because dialing in the amp on the Mills cab requires substantially different settings than dialing it in on the Marshall.
i know the mills with my old evh cab was pretty strong also. but that was when i was running 16 ohm v 30s...

I think you could wire the mills to 16ohms as well? I cant remember how it goes honestly. But, i think you can double the cab, but not half it…?

You can re-wire a 16 ohm cab to 4 ohm (series parallel converted to all speakers in parallel) but you cannot do anything with an 8 ohm cab.

Shit. you right. You can make 2-8”s to 16ohms, but not 4. That stuff is very confusing to me Math bad.

Which had me scratching my head….Did
these Engineers of sound & science learn anything
while getting their college degree?
Oh really?
Did they “tune” this box using THEIR amps and
settings only?
Because you f’n Guru’s ruined my amp settings
with your ‘scientific findings’ in the box you built.
My EQ on my amp proves it.
Welcome to the family!..,
Did Marshall welcome you to his family
or do musicians just keep playing the shit out of those driver cabinets until they crumble??

Man, from my own engineer resentment,
I threw on Beastie Boys “Gratitude” and rocked on drums with Mike D at 540 in the damn morning my man! Thx Smashed!
Time to go Wim Hoff it and soak up the cold sun
& breathe life like fire…

more speakers = more tone, the only better than more is more...

Whether you will like that or not I cant say...

i ran a full stack for years, just stopped because i was trying to keep my amp to where i could sit and still reach the dials. . I am currently entertaining the idea of a full stack of Mills. It will be a heavy bitch to stack up the first time, but could be good. I have never run two 8ohm cabs before. So will be interesting to see if running the 4ohm tap sounds different.
