Fender Highway 1 body , Warmoth neck

It’s a neck that’s already in stock. It’s a Strat headstock, standard thin, 10-16 radius, 1 11/16” nut, and I chose Standard Jumbo (6150) frets.LP Freak":2s22p5bj said:What neck shape and frets did you order?Beyond Black":2s22p5bj said:Yeah, I really dig satin and tung oiled finishes these days. The body is mahogany. Should sound good with a mahogany neck and ebony fretboard. I just scored the body on Reverb, all wired up with the MCP Detroiter in the pic for $330 shipped/tax. I wasn’t even looking to buy, then I saw this and was likeLP Freak":2s22p5bj said:Those satin finishes look badass. If you’re ordering both a Warmoth neck and body I guarantee you they will be a perfect fit. If you’re ordering from two different vendors that it could get dicey.mooncobra":3dng4d2y said:i want to build one of these soooo bad! how much adjusting is there to get it to play nice? surely all the necks and bodies aren't a perfect fit?
I swapped the Warmoth and USA Custom necks from above and they fit but not quite as perfect as same brand. Also had an Allparts on the Warmoth for a short time and it too fit OK but not perfect.LP Freak":2nqupykr said:If you’re ordering both a Warmoth neck and body I guarantee you they will be a perfect fit. This is true. There’s usually some fretwork and nutwork needed.SpiderWars":2451f7nw said:I swapped the Warmoth and USA Custom necks from above and they fit but not quite as perfect as same brand. The main mismatch wasn't so much the sides of the neck pocket, they were all pretty good there. But the neck angle did change enough to require an entire setup and in at least one case removing neck and shimming.
You can assemble and play and I've done that but to be top shelf it could require some fretwork (should be minimal).
Where did you get the necks for the 2 HS Strats? They look like not Fender licensed but only if you look close.Crunchtime":xzuw191k said:
