So outside of lyrics what is it about the sleaziest rock songs that make em just sound sleazy? Like Cherry Pie, Girls, Pour Some Sugar, It's So Easy, Smooth Up In Ya... I think a lot of it has to do with riffs that slide between chords but not every song that's "sleazy" does that... Discuss!

Opening riff to love in an elevator!

7th Ave by Ratt

Anything on MIdnight Dynamite by Kix

Might not be the sleaziest to you but it is to me...damn I fucked a lot of strippers to that song back in the day!

See Slow and Easy is done with a slide, at least the intro... What about em, outside lyrics, makes em sleazy? Is it a real pronounced beat or just the swagger in which they are preformed?

I always thought "still of the night" was a really sleazy riff

Its the Groove .Ratts Way Cool Jr is very nasty sounding IMO
ZZ top has some
Motley Crue has a ton of them
Some Aerosmith for sure has it
Extreme Lil jack Horny..
Drop D tuning and bluesy groove

Hinder All american nightmare for more modern ,and Nickleback has a ton of them to go listen 'Gotta get me some '

Thelephant's riffs on the Bexar County Bastards release comes to mind.

There is this like groovy blues thing to the real sexy riffs... I think it's more the feel of the drums than what the guitars are doing that make me think strippers dancing over other songs

A lot of the 80s sleaz rock had a certain swagger to the shuffle rhythm. This has gone missing over the past twenty years. Great White were masters of it. It's a bluesy shuffle.

 Mark Kendall had some good tone as well.

How about the slide guitar on Cinderella's 'Night Songs' ?

That sums it up pretty well...it's all about the move and groove. Listen to Shotgun Messiah's "Second Coming" album for a healthy dose of it. Bullet Boys had it down ("Smooth Up" and "Hang on St. Christopher"), LA Guns ("I Wanna Be Your Man", "Never Enough", etc), Faster Pussycat ("Bathroom Wall", "Babylon")...and don't forget VH who more or less got the party started.
