How the hell do you register for this shit? None of the answers I give to the "security questions" are correct. Even thought I know they are.

Like, "What's the value of two 500uf caps in series?" Uhh... 250uf, right? Well it says wrong. WTF.

EDIT:

lol never mind. I got a new question: "What is the capacitive reactance of 22nf at 60Hz?" Jesus, this thing is like a school test. But got that one right.  Had to look this one up.

Expect an SLO Clone build thread in the near future... :)

I don't know enough about electronics to join the SLO clone forum. :aww:

I think i got on there before the electronics quiz started but building a SLO seems like a daunting task. They always say it is about the transformers though so not sure how close one can get without them. That's where the $$$$ comes.

I've been a member of SloClone for some time now. It's not a place just any old asshole can sign up. Information gets shared there that isn't necessarily public domain. A good portion of "reputable" modders got nearly their entire mod repertoire from trolling SC. A few of which are heralded gushingly right here on RT.

I was worried that was the case for me. But I managed to finally do it.

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out if I can handle it or not. I've built a couple Marshalls. But they were easy as hell. Looking at what's required for the SLO... hmmm, on a whole 'nother level.
