I`ve asked this before on another forum. I know that no pedal is gonna replicate the sound of the SLO but is there any pedal out there that will do a convincing imitation ? I`m aware of the SLOstortion but never tried it and also the AMT S1 and SLO Drive but also have never tried those

I`ve heard a lot of negative comments about the SLOstortion but that guy in the vid made it sound fantastic

^ I`ve seen that, a little out of my price range

The Emma Pisdiyauwot or Reezafratzitz II are both good options for that tone. The mosfet emulations of the actual SLO preamp circuit are generally lackluster and thin sounding. CMOS distortion circuits are usually better at emulating high gain amp tones.

The clips of the Emma Reeza sound pretty killer but the price for that SLOcentury is right up my alley

I'd probably try the Wampler before anything else.

I ended up ordering the Reezafratzitz on your recommendation hope to get it any day. In the meantime I picked up the EVH OD , I can`t say it has the SLO vibe but it`s a very cool hard rock pedal , I`ll probably end up returning it to GC as it`s not very amp like to my ears but it`s get the job done for the most part

Looking forward to your report back

To my surprise the Emma Reezafratzitz II didn`t sound that great to my ears. Maybe it didn`t like the VHT special 6 and my 2x12 M75/ Vintage 30 cab but the Reez sounded flubby and a bit conegested , stacking it with another OD set as a clean boost helped a little but not much. Some of the demos on YT sounded great but thats not the first time that has happened when I bought a piece of gear due to a killer demo then got let down. To my ears the EVH OD sounds much much better so Im gonna hang onto that , so much for the SLO in a box.

Bummer :aww:
I might check out the synergy sn1 later. Right now I'm working on a mini pedal board. Was hoping to make a small amp in a box board single row with about 6 pedals afterwards.
