Every little bit.    It would have taken another space as well. The purple one is an'88 production piece. The 19th SLO ever. The red one is from this year, but the first Mike had made in 15 years he said. He said it would be the last.

Considering how people like to say years of SLO's are different, do you notice any differences better or worse between the two SLO's or maybe just different, not better or worse?

They are different. You can open them up and see that. But neither is better. They actually compliment each other quite well.

The Egnater has been reissued I guess youd say. Ultra sound has around a 100 of them I think. About $800.

I hope I get to play this bad boy today.

I took a good look at the rig the other day. Having Dave Friedman wire a rig this complex is worth every penny in my opinion. The attention to detail is amazing

WOW !!!!!!

It would be cooler with the pink Soldano Power-amp

Really sweet. First gig tonight with it. It was really nice having the tones in my head finally coming through the speakers. :)

Good grief, gearhead wet dream - legal porn!

However, do you gig with that stuff? What kind of gigs/venues? Who helps you carry/set it up? If they're not stadium gigs, how do the other band members deal with the two square feet of stage you leave them?

Always looking for the balance of enough gear, vs. the need for an entourage to deal with it - what's the story? Got to be 600 lbs. of stuff.....

Ohh Dave has a 5 girl troup that are competitors for Ms Fitness USA that do all his load in and load out...while in bikini's!! THere is a bigger crowd to watch that then to actually see him play!! :-P

In truth I would bet that he only gigs places with a handicapped ramp so he can wheel all his shit in and out!! LOLOLOL

It's heavy. But not too bad. Venues with smaller stages we do as a 3 piece. Larger stages 5+. It was fine last night. If I need stage space I'd just stack the speakers. No bigger than any rack/cab rig. We use a trailer so I have no issues there. Never understood why guys with rigs own Hondas and then have to down size gear to fit the car? (Had a bassist once who showed up at practice and he had just traded in his truck for a little compact car and expected us to haul his gear. Idiot.)

Really except for stairs easier on the back than carrying heads. It rolls over everything! If I have a gig with more than about 7-8 stairs I'll use a smaller rig - but then I lose the Ms Fitness girls and where's the fun then?

Forgot to mention, I don't have to use the cabs. The Palmers go FoH and I could ditch the cabs if I had too.

Great, well thought out rig! The Palmers are the perfect thing to put it over the top in terms of flexibility and intelligence. Well done!

Hope to play through it when I'm out at NAMM!

I was at Dave's last night he really dug putting her together for you.

Yeah, I really put him under the gun for this time wise. But it is awesome. I have been wiring racks since the '80s, but Dave took it to a level I never could have. He even programed my All Access in a way that I never would have - and it is much better. There is a reason you go to Dave. It is excellent, everything I wanted. Now if I can just get him to lug it around for me.
