Looking for suggestions on a lower noise small footprint EQ pedal that would be used in the loop. Mainly for crunch and higher gain. I have an older (Black) MXR 10 band but I have a smaller board setup in the works with my Bluguitar Amp 1 so I'm short on space.

Source Audio's EQ2 has a bonkers amount of features for its size.

The boss 10 band eq is a super secret weapon . You can get them used . Pretty incredible tool

Plus 1 for the Source Audio EQ2. I did just buy the Ibanez PTEQ 5 band, but it’s still in the box. Have not tried it yet. But it seems to have some cool features

The newer Boss ge7 isn't as noisy as the older ones. Not tiny per se, but maybe the best compromise. Source audio is likely great, but never tried. Boss GE 10 is absolute tits, but the absolute opposite of a small footprint.

all the mini eq's right now are cheap and noisy... no way around it.
That's what I was afraid of and why I asked. Thanks!

I already have one and it's my go to but it's on my big board and there's not enough room on my small board :aww:
Don't make your pedals smaller. Make your pedalboard bigger.
I do have a bigger board. This is for my living room/grab and go (though it seems I never grab and go anywherere) rig. Amp1 Mercury through a Mojotone Canyon 1x12 with a Neo Creamback.
I've looked at the Source Audio for a long time. I think I'm going to give it a shot.

Agree with others, the Source Audio EQ2 is hard to beat for flexibility. Some people might be a little adverse to it with it being digital is the only downside I could think.

The Wampler EQuator is good but lots of them are known to be pretty noisy.

The new Empress ParaEQ Deluxe is great but I REALLY miss having a master volume on an EQ pedal.

My personal favorite is the Analogman modded GE-7, and the XTS GE-7 is really good too with an adjusted midrange to fit guitar frequencies better. Parametric EQs can be more flexible but Graphic EQs are just so easy to dial in and see what you're doing on.
