So how do I use a noise gate/suppressor and which ones are the best ?

I didn't like the Sentry at all. I tried and would just be frustrated by it.

With my setup it wasn't doing as great of stopping the noise and I really didn't want to delve into the downloads, etc. To be honest, my Decimator G-String didn't do much better and had grounding issues. My Revv G8 is the quietest one I've had.

That was my problem also with TC Iron Curtain. It was slow.
