I think a couple of bros hooked me up with some sinmix, haven't gotten to test em all yet but will do. But I agree for laying out ideas and finding different sounds this thing is great. Though I got pretty good with load boxes and my tube heads one of my biggest issues was noise and buzz and just crap like that when I would be too close to my pedal board or some other electrical device. With the Kemper it was smooth sailing in comparison.aftec":1ytyisb2 said:For the broots check out the Sinmix packs, there is a pretty good free pack, for lower gain stuff Michael Britt and Tone Junkie are great too. Have fun.
I used to use an Axe, but I just got tired of constant tweaking. Can't beat this thing laying down ideas and finding different sounds to a part.
Thanks Slaytallica! So far so goodSlaytallica":1ytyisb2 said:Sounds Killer!! Welcome to the club!!
Thanks MrDowntownMrDowntown":1ytyisb2 said:yea.. you're clips are always right-on... though the music takes a different slant if you listen whilst watching g-ma knit one, purl two...![]()
someone dumped a bunch of kemper profiles on here a while back...did you snag those by chance and try any of them? it was about 50-60 p'files... i grabbed them...just in case i ever got into kemper stuff...
Thanks tlingentlingen":1ytyisb2 said:Sounds really good! Love that video with it.
Thanks gtr31! You know I've been lurking the KPA FB group since I got my Kemper and it seems there might be some issues still with the stage. Minor stuff from loose knobs to screen glitches... but it could be related to a new OS7 is what I'm picking up on to. Good luck!gtr31":1ytyisb2 said:Sounds great
Considering the Kemper stage
The all the gains pack isnt cheap but man its pretty much got everything for hi gain stuff

Fellow Kemper owner here. Can't help you on any Wizard profiles but if you are interested in some decent Mesa JP2C profiles search the Rig Exchange for "Bjorn Gottfridsson". "Deadlight Studio" has really good JVM410, Diezel and others. "Tim Owens" for Friedman BE100 and DS profiles as well.
I'm running mine through a Matrix GT1600FX power amp into a G12T-75/V30 loaded Randall and a G12K-85 loaded Marshall cabs in stereo, it's an experience. I turn off the Cab Block on Kemper and then Lock it. Kick ass piece of gear.

Damn, everything sounded so badass, how the drums are used and you riffing right along..I love it ! And I like all the running ! Going to watch and listen many times to this !errrrrl":3l3gjbpu said:So I've come to the realization that I just can't buy all the amps I want and be married n'stuff![]()
So rather than chucking away half of everything I own and paying lawyers n'stuff I decided to pick up a powered Kemper off Reverb... it came in last week but it wasn't powered. Seller went AFK and reverb is tracking him down telling me not to worry

Anyway... I finally plugged in and took fit for a spin. This my first time with a Kemper and I got to say I think I get it. Its not like an amp in the room at all. Its more like how my recordings sound after time spent dialing in and mixing. Anyway this is my first test with it, Enjoy!

I have been waiting on my JJ Jr to come for 3 months now and if it doesn't make it to the retailer by the next supposed day they are to receive it I may finally get tires of waiting and have been looking around and I saw one of the powered kemper units for a good price..who knows if I will wait much or any londer on the jj jr..kinda soured on it now.
THanks brother I appreciate that!tjnx":1fw00wy4 said:I love this and all the other stuff you're doing. Dont stop never![]()
Thanks RaulTx! I'm looking forward to really try and learn how to use this thing... its got so much crap you can mess withRaulTx":1fw00wy4 said:wow! one on the best things I've heard lately from amp sims!
I did tweak them a little (bass/mid/presence). I sent the Kemper back but have a powered one coming on Friday so hopefully I can load it up and tell you what I did exactly. I'll let you knowK-Roll":1fw00wy4 said:great sound, did you have to tweak the profiles or did you just go with the default settings?![]()
Yeah I did the bass with some bass patch that was on the Kemper. I have no idea if that was something stock or added but I did back up the profiles so I can load em up on the new Kemper incoming.Bob Savage":1fw00wy4 said:Sounds great on an iPad, will check it on something better later.
Did you do the bass? That sounds great too.
Thanks 311splawndude311splawndude":1fw00wy4 said:Congrats man![]()
Thanks Goat, I haven't even begun to start messing with this thing. I guess I should throw some pedals in front and in the loop and see what happensGoat":1fw00wy4 said:Plug a TC2290 into the Kemper stereo loop, and sail! Center cab dry, 2290 through the stereo PA...![]()
Thanks Texhex! I'll check out those profiles once I'm up and running again. I need to learn how to lock the kemper too. When I was testing with my own IRs it was a pain to keep having to turn the cab off for each profile. Thanks for the tipTexhex":1fw00wy4 said:Nice clip!

Yeah man.. .I can't believe the seller never replied to that option, cause I would have kept it and got that Ritter Camplifier stereo amp that sits flush in the back of the non powered ones. Anyway the returned kemper got their today, I should be getting a refund tomorrow I hope and my new used powered Kemper with remote comes Friday! Can't wait!ClintN667":1fw00wy4 said:Sucks he sent you an unpowered one. If he would have knocked off the price though I would have kept it and grabbed a tube power amp. I know it sounds counter productive but a tube power amp with a Kemper gets you almost there with the amp in the room issue.
I've always used the up / down arrows Tex; didn't realise it worked with left / right too.Texhex":189zqeba said:Another tip is when you are in Rig Manager, after you double click on a Rig to load it you can use the Left and Right arrow keys on your keyboard to go up and down through the rigs and it will autoload them.
