She'd be hot if you put something in her mouth so she couldn't sing. Jeez, I love Ric, but damn. I'm not even a Motor Head fan and I feel violated. To each their own I guess... :no: :aww:

I kinda like Ric & some of that good Triumph stuff, and enjoyed his column back in the day when he was a regular with Guitar Player magazine, but............. Has anyone ever seen that '83 US Festival DVD released a few years ago? During Ric's big solo of the night......I get kind of annoyed by his hammy-boyish antics as he plays a somewhat impressive round of different guitar styles showcasing his flexibility. Keeping in mind that Van Halen was ALL the rage at that time, and they were headlining the US Festival that night.....it seemed a bit bold that Ric plays a bunch of Eddie-inspired pull-off stuff playing one-handed and rolling his eyes at how easy it is.
Anyone else ever notice this?...........

that was uncomfortable

glen campbell joins metallica

"just a game" was epic and one of the very first rock albums i ever bought and tried to learn songs from

Wow... just painful. Although I love that one guy just shaking his head! :lol: :LOL:
My band has a female singer and, while nowhere near as hot as that one, just nails the crap out of Ace of Spades. I don't have a link but it's on our myspace if anyone wants to rinse their ears out!

gotta be some kind of connection there?

somebodie's kid, or through the studio?

I've heard about the infamous US Festival solo. In general, I've always liked Rik. He was definitely 95% of the talent behind Triumph. His lesson articles in Guitar Player magazine were always very well written and he is certainly versatile. I've also read that he is extremely bitter towards the other two guys in Triumph - I guess if you can't reunite yourself with the guys in the group, you end up playing a Motorhead cover song, sung by a woman who'd make cyndi lauper's voice sound good.

I think he's been spending most of his free time writing his own Wikipedia page;

:bleh:

His first solo album, Absolutely, was released in 1990 and became a massive hit across North America thanks to the smash hits "When a Heart Breaks" and "Saved by Love". He is also a writer for Guitar Player magazine and teaches a music business course"

might as well jump?

Can't watch the vid (keeps saying it's "private"). I always dug Triumph.
