This incarnation of Megadeth is prolly the best. And yes I think Marty and Nick were incredible.

I'm thinkin the lineup I saw in 87' was the best. Poland,Elfeson(sp),Samuelson(sp). Come on

Those guys were great to but... I'm liking this stuff that much.

I live in SA and I missed it...had to work late.

Sorry to hijack the thread...but how did Machine Head do?

They were great. Due to the rain delay, they only played about 30 minutes but they chose great songs.

Never got to see that lineup, wish I had because I love those records. They played WUD, Peace Sells and Rattlehead from that era.

As far as lineups that I have seen, the '91 CotT tour is by far the best.

dosent broderick use engls?

 No Engls or Bare knuckle pickups. I heard he had to change because of Dave's sponsors Marshall and Seymour Duncan.

Don't know if theres any truth to it, but he's not playing Engl or BKP anymore.

Dallas show was awesome

bass was way too loud

SA set was short because of curfew, we got the full set though

Endgame is the best record in 15 years

and the tunes from endgame that they are playing are the best from the record

i thought MH was awful. total pantera style (me no like pantera). they didn't play one tune that i thought was worth a shit. what makes em even worse is that Flynn/Demmel played in/wrote the music in Vio-Lence who were one of the very best thrash bands

also, who cares if Broderick switched because of dave's deals. he was great through those marshalls

sound like a chain saw cutting a cat up!!!  shrilly and harsh :D

Man, i so wanted to go to that show but instead got stuck in the mud trying to go to a fucking jam practice!

It was ridiculous...

Oh well what can u do when old el diablo wants to take a great big steaming turd on ya? :D

Saw Megadeth last night- was late so didn't see any of the opening bands, but Megadeth sounded killer! I've only liked a few of the JVM clips I've heard, but damn those JVM's and DM cabs ruled! Very tight & heavy without being fizzy at all. Dave & Broderick played great- as someone else said, Broderick was playing his and Marty's and Poland's solos note for note and barely looking at his guitar. Asshole! :D   Overall great show.
