I feel for SR, that's one of the reasons I helped him out with my experience with his "buyer".
And for another reason...I got purposely screwed by a guy about 12 years ago. Took him to small claims,
won the case. Then he started yapping online and made up a website saying I was gay, hated this/that and the other thing... all BS, but he was butthurt about losing the case.
I sued him for libel, etc and won again. He never showed up in court either time, but I had enough evidence to get the judgment. Then he started calling my house late at night, yapping, threatening, cursing. I used to put him on speaker phone and laugh at his rants. He hated that, then he started other stuff, making snide remarks about my wife (who he never met), etc. and how he was going to ruin my business.
I finally got a restraining order on him, which lasted three years. I just renewed the small claims judgments. They're 12 years old, and at 10% interest per year, they're now up to nice sized 4 figure number. All I have to do is file one piece of paperwork and his bank account is raided for the entire amount. I just figured if I made an extra $2000 in interest it would be "Revenge is a dish best served cold."
So yeah, I get where SR is coming from, and if he ruins this guy's rep online at the expense of a few members saying "Chill, dude!", I think that's ok, too. You don't have to click on the thread, you know?
I'd rather know who a crook is before I make a deal if at all possible. And maybe if you had been purposely screwed and it cost you money, you'd feel the same way.
