Blue Dragon was made by Hironobu Sakaguchi (Final Fantasy), the music was done by Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy), and the character designs were done by Akira Toriyama (Dragonball Z). Definitely a killer game.

I'm so glad the 360 is finally getting some RPG's, since that's my favorite genre. Lost Odyssey, The Last Remnant, and Infinite Undiscovery all look incredible. I can't wait to play those games.

Totally agree. Three of my top five games ever are SquareSoft PSX era RPGs.

Hell yeah man. PS1 was the best RPG system ever IMO. Some people will argue that Super Nintendo was, but for me it's PS1 all the way. I still play a lot of old PS1 RPG's today, like FF7, FF8, Xenogears, Star Ocean 2, etc.

Yeah, I agree although the SNES had some great games. Did you ever play Chrono Cross or Vagrant Story for PSX?

I'm just kiddin' dudes. I'm a Halo Veteran, so obviously I've got the advantage. I had only played 3 rounds of GoW before jumping in with you guys, so now you know how it feels.

I'm going to be grabbing it tonight. I just talked to a coworker who got it yesterday, and he's disappointed. He said the graphics and level of detail are far inferior to Bioshock. He LOVES Bioshock. He also calls bullshit on someone finishing it on Legendary in 5 hours right off the bat. cough**warplanegrey***cough

He said the difference just between Normal and Heroic is big.

It doesn't compare to Bioshock or GoW graphic wise (although the water is real nice).
But it has some really cool things going for it in the gameplay dept.

For sure, both of those are amazing games. Chrono Cross is one of my favorite games ever and Vagrant Story is just a cool game. Love the style in that one, definitely a unique game.

You can get a used core system for $190 and a used hard drive for about $60.

Haha, i got schooled before, that was the first time i played Halo online in about 2 years. I finally found out where the shotgun was late in the round though. I'll probably be on again later.

I spent a while playing single player, I'm liking the game the more i play it.

I think the funnist thing too do is after you bitch slap your friend in multiplayer, you can go back and look at the film of the round. Take the clips out of you bitch slapping him (from every angle ) and send them too him too watch. Funny stuff.....

Sorry I jumped off so suddenly last night. I was summoned by the wife rather urgently. The 360 sometimes comes between us, and she had had enough of that for the night.

Anyway, I think the multiplayer is OK. The vehicles are pretty fun. My major complaints are (1) I do not feel a sense of "weight" from my character when I'm moving around, etc...Gears of War does this wonderfully; perhaps it's the 3rd person perspective? (2) I don't really "feel" it when I make a kill, as I do in GOW. I get no real sense of accomplishment (or defeat, as is the case more often than not ) once a round is complete.
