Played a gig lastnite. Been looking for the right fit band wise like forever. A GP & keys my age, professional, a female vocal instructor from a music academy she's awesome.
GP's son on drums & an excellent bass player. My wife is a BS music major [classicly trained operetic soprano & keys] in 2 groups of her own. They invited her too for next week.
Like nobody smokes tobacco [thank God] nobody is a 60's classic rock burnout alcoholic or drug addict.
Everybody gets along, its fresh. They actually play "music".
Played the LUKE lastnight w/a ZW overdrive & TC dreamscape chorus thru their Vox AC-15.
LUKE never goes out of tune, super versitile. The AC-15 was perfect for this situation. In fact had to "turn down" several times.
They are connected in the local scene. Finally found something that works.
I love monster amps but never underestimate the power of 2 EL-84's.
No hand trucks needed we got roadies.

Actually between the PA vocals & the drums my hearing was in the crossfire.
Drummer is young but very good. Having ruptured an eardrum in da 80's i gotta be cool with that AKA P. Gilbert syndrome.
Its the cymbals that fry your ears.

Congrats! I hope it improves your outlook on life and allows you to focus on more positive things, like music!

Hope it works out for you Dan.

Congratulations! That is an incredible looking guitar too
When Steve played his similarly-coloured (maybe exactly the same) one on-stage, it looked pretty-cool IMHO.

Depending on the angles to-camera and light hitting it it would "change colour".
