That's nice everyone gets along. Don't worry though you'll fuck up the band dynamic soon enough.

Uh-oh we got a tough guy here LOL!![]()
yeah "fatter hatter" needs his face broke -
Cottleville Wine Seller is the name of the place. I end up playing there all the time between my band and the other band I fill in with a lot.I'd put a throw rug down where you're gonna stand cuz if its damp you gonna have a shocking good time when you touch the strings.
Cool rig. Where'd you play ?
IDK how far this new gig is going but we need a bigger practice space or i need to wear my earplugs as the young drummer
is pretty gung ho.
Like i said its just for fun.
Ah gotcha. Yeah, I’m a bit of a neat freak.I can relate bro'.
Your amp and cab looked very-clean too, hence my comment. Don't get me wrong; I roll that way.

Played a gig lastnite. Been looking for the right fit band wise like forever. A GP & keys my age, professional, a female vocal instructor from a music academy she's awesome.
GP's son on drums & an excellent bass player. My wife is a BS music major [classicly trained operetic soprano & keys] in 2 groups of her own. They invited her too for next week.
Like nobody smokes tobacco [thank God] nobody is a 60's classic rock burnout alcoholic or drug addict.
Everybody gets along, its fresh. They actually play "music".
Played the LUKE lastnight w/a ZW overdrive & TC dreamscape chorus thru their Vox AC-15.
LUKE never goes out of tune, super versitile. The AC-15 was perfect for this situation. In fact had to "turn down" several times.
They are connected in the local scene. Finally found something that works.
I love monster amps but never underestimate the power of 2 EL-84's.
No hand trucks needed we got roadies.

I am just joking with you, Dan. I hope you have a good time with those guys.
So....
What's the name of your band?
All good Big PaPa. I remember in the 90's Cottelville was just a bend in the road. Hardly recognize St Chas Co. These days.
I lived there for 20+ yrs. No stranger to the court system back then LOL.
I fought the law and the law won.
gimme a heads up next time you play. Would love to meet you. Ive followed your exploits for 20 yrs.
FYI... I'm playing this coming Saturday at The Boathouse in St Charles if they will still let you back in the county. lol
I'm a million times nicer in person than online.

Skip to 2:00I never laugh at anyone's playing unless they claim to be a hot dog and aren't. I've never heard that claim from Dan. Besides, if I'm seeing it live I'm usually to busy data mining their musical efforts in order to steal any salient licks, tricks, or stage banter that I can use for my own efforts.![]()
I’ve started struggling with major tinnitus and sensitivity to sounds lately. Really sucks.Actually between the PA vocals & the drums my hearing was in the crossfire.
Drummer is young but very good. Having ruptured an eardrum in da 80's i gotta be cool with that AKA P. Gilbert syndrome.
Its the cymbals that fry your ears.
I've had it for 45 years. Your brain will dial it out gradually if you don't focus on it.I’ve started struggling with major tinnitus and sensitivity to sounds lately. Really sucks.
Intersting. That correlates with what I’m experiencing. And yes, I’m training myself not to panic at it. It feels pretty devastating sometimes that this will be something I’m stuck with, so I try and chill out about it. Could be much worse.I've had it for 45 years. I've found that a big hit of drugs and / or junk food amplifies the volume, FWIMBW. Lack of sleep and sleeping in awkward neck positions exacerbate it too.
Alcohol exacerbates my tinnitus. Another good reason to take it easy on the sauce.I've had it for 45 years. Your brain will dial it out gradually if you don't focus on it.

I assume there are varying degrees of it, but as long as I can remember now I have the sound of cicadas in my head at all times. I'm so used to it I don't even think about it unless I'm talking about tinnitus with someone.I've had it for 45 years. Your brain will dial it out gradually if you don't focus on it.
