From what I understand, it's a SS reimagining of the tube amp fortin did with hiwatt that they came up with as a budget option

So it wasn't "designed" by Fortin, but it has a lot of his design elements in it

I could be totally off base on that but that's what their rep told my local mom n pop (they carry them)

I’ve also got the Super Hi 50 and they are similar, with the SS having more bounce and saturation.

So i have one in the cart...but i also have a 300 in another cart.

Can the 150 get loud enough, or should i grab the 300?

Sounds great for the price. Kinda surprised that it doesn’t have more gain on tap being goosed though

I’ve only got the amp gain around 10-11 o’clock with the TS9 level around the same.
There’s a lot more in the tank.
The older I get the less gain I use. I don’t even know who I am anymore…
