Thanks man! Actually, that isn't a Model 2, it is an original San Dimas Charvel. I WISH I had that thing today. Unfortunately I sold it when the bottom fell out of the LA metal scene...

2 questions:

1) are you playing the exact same note in the first 3 pictures?

2) is that a superfulous eyebrow on the back of your picking hand?

Ha! Those pics are awesome. I'm glad those days are over. I started playing out in the late 80s but I didn't have the grapes to wear the spandex and waiters jacket. If I could go back in time I'd wear the spandex nut-huggers...you know...for the chicks. :thumbsup:

I had already changed the pickup and put a Floyd in place of the Kahler, but you can see I kept the Kahler nut. These pictures are from different shows and I believe are the Roxy in LA, but they could be the Water club as well... You can also see how my rig changed when we got sponsored by Duncan, but my main head was still a Jose Arredondo modded JCM 800... Anyway, have a laugh at the outfit (Just try to tell me you didn't wear worse!!!), but enjoy the guitar! I included the last pic, just 'cause I dig the shot. Boy was it loud at that point...

Spandex was in and so were Parachute pants yeah baby!!! :lol:

Couple years ago my wife and i were going thru stuff doing some cleaning and I found a grey pair and a black pair. I was laughing my ass off. Couldn't believe I still had them! ROFL!!
 
that guitar is so freakin badass. Its a Holy Grail of San Dimas Charvels. Worth a small mint today. Jack Daniels Charvels are legendary. No cooler guitar for that time IMO. I wore spandex zebra pants my wife wont let me forget about that!

I want to hear more about that Marshall also. I assume its also long gone? Bet it was a ripper!
