Nice. Here’s a quickie of the exact same amp through V30s (plus a little hairy-calf action):

Awesome man.
I like to post videos. Crappy or not. Part of the fun. :D
But as most know no matter how it sounds on the Clip it just can't capture the "in the room" tone / presence / feel.
So just gotta take em for what they are.
Fun hobby

Agreed. My clips are of mediocre quality at best, obviously (the Zoom Q3HD is hardly cutting edge at this point), but they can be useful for getting a better idea of how different amps, speakers, etc. sound from a different vantage point.

And yes, it is quite a lot of fun to make them.

I liked your 5150III red channel UberKab clip.

Thanks much. That's shaping up to be my all-time favorite head/cabinet combination.

Mailman's Lynch cabs are sounding pretty terrific, though. Too bad they're impossible to find.

Funny you mention them cabs. Everyone that has heard them loved em! I bought one brand new for about a grand. The 2nd I was just looking thru used gear online at guitar center. Typed in LYNCH for a search. The cab popped up for $400.00!!
I got on the phone and bought it immediately.
Right place right time. Every amp I run thru them. Nice deep rich tone. Awesome cabs.

Nice. Sometimes GC's complete lack of gear savvy pays off in unexpected ways!

Geez. That sounds like it's going to milkshake the planet.
I love it!

Late to this one, but wow. That thing has some serious chunk to it. Sounds very rich, thick.
Got me thinking

I have wanted a Blackmore head for a while and never gave this one much consideration. How would you put it with a 6505 ?

I ask that because it sounds like it has the same characteristics.

Nice amp/demo !

Thanks Fellas!

As far as the 6505 vs the Fireball.... ( I own a 5150 as well)
Not really a comparison. Fireball is more 'hi-fi' sounding and waaaaaay meaner in tone. ;)
I am so glad I got this amp back in my rig. Its really a great sounding amp thats pretty straight forward.
The Clean channel on it is super super chimey glass clean as well. But I dont play cleans.

Good to know, thanks for that! A bit more compressed maybe ?
Sounds like its breathing fire, no pun intended.

Seriously, sounds very aggressive, in a good way. I just want to stay a bit clear of anything too compressed.

No its not over compressed . It's more "raw/open" then my recto.
It's just heavy and brutal. Engl makes some really good amps. This is my 4th one. And if your looking for something that bowls over most high gain amps without breaking your wallet?
Get this kick ass German made killing machine. :D

This is spot on. The Engl's gain, though copious, never sounds "messy" like the Peavey's. The attack is also much faster and more direct.

Yes... this is probably the highest gain amp I have ever owned and it dont fall apart one bit when throwing down the heavy.

I have owned several other real high gainers but they did not have the clairity at high volumes like the Engl does. ;)

The Fireball 100 is a flat out killer. Had an ampfest at my house and the Fireball buried both the Uberschall and Cobra for brutal tones. Not to say that both of those aren't great amps, but the Engl is much tighter and more aggressive than both. It's not at all overly compressed, the gain is usable at all levels, and it's got a great clean channel. Such a killer amp that can be had for around a grand give or take.

I agree 100 percent. Owned both a twin jet uberschall and a cobra this year. The Fireball 100 crushes them both. And those amps were no slouches. ;)

Jesus Danno that thing sounds mean as fuck. Dig it and nice clips!

Thanks Jordan and Scotty for checking it out.
This is my 2nd go around with this amp. And it still sounds as good as I remembered it when I first had it.
Just a Bad Mo' Fo'

Hey Danno, have you owned a Savage? If so, how does it compare with the Fireball?

For me the Savage was more 'thick' sounding. If that makes sense. The fireball (at least to me) just seems meaner and tighter.
But that Savage is no Joke. (I never played or heard the SE savage though)
Before I got this fireball I was on the look for another Savage actually. :D

Actually glad this Fireball 100 popped up on the radar. I am really digging it!
