I like to post videos. Crappy or not. Part of the fun.![]()
But as most know no matter how it sounds on the Clip it just can't capture the "in the room" tone / presence / feel.
So just gotta take em for what they are.
Fun hobby![]()
Agreed. My clips are of mediocre quality at best, obviously (the Zoom Q3HD is hardly cutting edge at this point), but they can be useful for getting a better idea of how different amps, speakers, etc. sound from a different vantage point.
And yes, it is quite a lot of fun to make them.![]()
I liked your 5150III red channel UberKab clip.

It's just heavy and brutal. Engl makes some really good amps. This is my 4th one. And if your looking for something that bowls over most high gain amps without breaking your wallet?
Get this kick ass German made killing machine.![]()
I agree 100 percent. Owned both a twin jet uberschall and a cobra this year. The Fireball 100 crushes them both. And those amps were no slouches.Beyond Black":2div6cx4 said:The Fireball 100 is a flat out killer. Had an ampfest at my house and the Fireball buried both the Uberschall and Cobra for brutal tones. Not to say that both of those aren't great amps, but the Engl is much tighter and more aggressive than both. It's not at all overly compressed, the gain is usable at all levels, and it's got a great clean channel. Such a killer amp that can be had for around a grand give or take.
For me the Savage was more 'thick' sounding. If that makes sense. The fireball (at least to me) just seems meaner and tighter.Beyond Black":ch8aiz76 said:Hey Danno, have you owned a Savage? If so, how does it compare with the Fireball?
