I sold that awhile back, then tried a VH4. Herbert is a cool amp. It was my #1 for like 5 years. Really good MV on it as well. You should be in for some fun this week.

I have a pretty high gain pickup in that ESP. Dimarzio X2N.
But it plays super sharp and focused.
I love that pickup. Recently put it in all my guitars.

That's one of my favorite pickups Dan. I remember I used to have that King V and after I put the X2N it screamed like a banshee. I think Chuck Schuldiner used to use those

I was a Emg user for years. Then Aldrich. Then back to the jb.
Tried the x2n for shits and giggles. Immediately super noticeable.
Haven't looked back. Thing just rips.

Shitty thing is I promised the wife we'd go camping this weekend which is great fun don't get me wrong, but it's gonna kill me to wait until next week to really dig into it

Hmmmm...just had a thought here....maybe I could take my 2x12 and the Savage 120 and Herbert I got coming this week, buy a generator and crank the shit out of em while were camping in the middle of the woods
