Looking for something with a higher output and tighter low end compared to my stock Tele v-mod pickups (think Earth/Hope Conspiracy/etc), but I don't want to lose the tele twang (aka no humbuckers). These seem exactly what I'm looking for but haven't really heard much outside of a quick youtube search...
- Do they still sound like tele pickups? Even at higher gain?
- Tighter low end than stock tele pickups?
- Are the 280k pots worth it? Seems like such a small difference considering tolerances can be like 20% in general
- Is the Duelund 0.022µF paper-in-oil tone capacitor worth it over stock Fender American caps?
- What is the neck pickup like? I already have a Lollar Royal T, and probably not going to take it out, but I am curious how the PD neck sounds
