It cuts their revenue by reducing demand. Tariffs are against free trade and level playing fields. They aren't a rightwing thing at all. Trade deficits aren't because people are mistreating the US like Donald Trump framed it. It's just supply and demand. If something is cheaper elsewhere then people we buy more of it. Take the directors of those companies houses and make them pay for the decisions don't punish Canada for it. It's not their fault.

If my Harley is Chinese (which it isn't) it would be due to deceptive conduct by Americans. As it is it's the same parts as a US one but assembled in Thailand. However I could own a fleet of Harleys if I wanted (which I don't). I'm about to buy a new BMW (in addition to the Harley) - so stick that up your miserable yank arse.

I will get them to do it every other year just to check on things other than oil.
