I think they sound good, so I ordered a pair today.

I think John's video makes the V30 sound like a megaphone next to the Karnivores.

Euge has a better demo comparison of the 2 IMO.
The more I hear the Karnivore the more it sounds like my old Veteran 30s. The knawing kaw of the V30 upper midrange is lessened and the lows and highs are boosted. You could also almost say it's what you get when you put a V30 and a T75 together in one speaker...a little bit of everything from both.
To me, it's clear that the Karnivore sounds best when combined with the a V30.

Cool demos. The Karnivores sound really good, but for rock and metal I've yet to hear any speaker I enjoy as much as the V30. Close second are Greenbacks. Lots of great speakers out there, but the V30 reigns supreme in my book.

Those EQ graphs were interesting and not quite what I expected. The Karnivores definitely have a much more open quality to them.

Funny, because I also thought it sounded like a V30/T75 mix.

I find the XXL cab to sound horrifically scooped, but its great to see them as an OEM option

Karnivore sounds thin, nasally, and scooped. V30 By a mile.
