So I’m rolling with one Mesa Traditional slant with V30’s on the bottom, and WGS ET-65’s on the top, and loving it. Punchy as fuck with nice highs and crunch from the 65’s. It’s a killer combo. The other Traditional slant has V30’s on the top, and K 100’s on the bottom. I dig the K100’s, they’ve got a ton of low end and sound huge, but I’m wanting something tighter and punchier, the 100’s are rounder and more resonant. I’ve got some WGS Invader 50’s on the way, so I’ll put the V30’s on the bottom, cause I hate those all up in my face, and the Invaders on top. Every clip I’ve heard of those sounds great. Both slant cabs have Beam Blockers in the top rows, and they’re game changers. They eliminate all of that directional, laser beam, harshness that slant cabs throw at you. They actually make a slant sound as smooth as a straight, while still projecting sound upward. I can’t recommend these enough.
