Has anyone tried a Creamback m-65 and a G12T75 in a 2X12 with their splawn?

And what did you think of them? Or how would you compare them to some other speakers you dig?

Not a fan. I swapped out the 4 for 4 governors. sounded much better. I lived the Gov/Manowar combo better in the 2x12. When I played live, the 4x12 small block got kinda lost in the mix. But when I played my QR through a Carvin 4x12 with 65s, got complements all the time. Shows how much a cab/speaker combo influences cut.

No but I had G12T75s and Creamback H75s in 4x12 . T75s up top H75s on the bottom . With a Greenback type speaker I was always getting a mid range honk I couldn't dial out with that cab , I tired M65s and Scumbacks M75s in there . The G12T75s cleared that honk right up. YMMV cause I've got Greenbacks in the 2x12 in my Avatar and it sounds great . I'd bet that T75 M65 would sound good

my 2nd Creamback m-65 just cam in last night so I am going to try that combo first before I try 1 creamback /75
I'll let you know what I think, I have a pair of very early 75's that came in my marshalljcm800 cab (metal grills on the back of the center of the magnets)
much better sounding than the current crop of 75's that are out there.
*************Edit*******
Mojotone cab is loaded with both CreamBacks now, the greenbacks went into the Marshall cab. My daughter was taking a final online tonight (weird college year) so I couldn't crank it up yet. will have to wait for tomorrow. I figured I'd try both creambacks first since this is what Scott recommends, I'll throw in the 75 after the creambacks get broken in and see what it does since the 75's are well broken in.
I've also got an extra V30 I can try with it. I was just watching a pretty good video of a guy blending the M-65 with a V30. sounded really good.
My V30 is new though so it may take a while to sound it's best :(

I’ve got a Fully Loaded Splawn Comp on the way and thinking my current 2x12 combo of V30/CBH75 may be harsh with it. But I’ve also read the Mid-cut and New/Old can fix some of the Splawns “speaker-picky” nature.

im thinking to swap the V30 with a Redback. See how we go.

I pulled the trigger and ordered a 2018 fully loaded Quickrod. Im counting the days till it arrives!!! I already own a MESA 2X12 with VINTAGE 30s but really want to get the SPLAWN 2X12 with Creambacks because it seems that the Creambacks are highly recommended and match well with the Quickrod. My question is do you think Im going to notice that huge of a difference by NOT having Creambacks and will be missing out on something special tone wise? Thanks guys.
Bogner 2x12 with vintage 30 and creamback. Vintage 30 by itself, I hate that speaker, but with a creamback or greenback it sounds good.
