Listened to some Evoken. 0_0 really cool stuff. I like how its somewhat drony, but not boring/repetitive drony, but mostly just dark. Sort of takes what I like about early Sabbath, what I like about Drone, and combines them. Really cool stuff, thanks for the recommendation. I admit I have a thing for really long songs (10+ min)

These guys are boarder line metal/stoner/doom IMHO
Kinda like Mastodon w/out vox
That's awesome you posted Eagle Claw! Luther (the bass player) and I have talked about jamming but I was busy with my other band. He is ridiculously good, as is the band. Their tour is about start so keep an eye out!

Kage, youtube the band Sasquatch. They still have fuzz though his is more distortion pedal-ish sounding, and the guitar player (three piece) can sing his ass off! He actually uses a Peacemaker.

I definitely like some of the older stoner/doom bands. I love Black Sabbath of course and Candlemass  .

One band that I've been getting into a lot lately is a local two-piece called Hootenanny. Two hot chicks, one on drums, one on electric guitar, in fact they swap instruments for a few songs during their gigs. They have an owl theme and wear those Native American indian feather hats onstage & wooly beanies.
They're really cool people too, really nice.

They aren't really the dark, sinister type of doom that has been presented in this thread before. More rock really. But they definitely have that MASSIVE, fuzzy huge bassy sound and the stoner vibe, but more with a wilder, radical attitude.

They fucken rock live! I was going off in the crowd, and later when I chatted to them they said they loved it and that I should mosh!

Here's some live gigs via crappy digital camera...
