Just curious as I’ve got a few speakers I’m gonna hang onto. Is it as simple as just putting them in a box and setting them somewhere safe in the garage where they won’t get damaged , anything else I need to be aware of ? This time of year it gets really cold out there and of course come the summer months it gets really hot

I have a gear closet inside for storing stuff so it isn't in the extreme cold or heat, but really speakers would be fine in the garage, as long as they don't get chewed by mice of course.

Not in the garage. I'd keep it under air or at least a garbage bag like mentioned above but bag them when it's dry/cold.

Think about certain conditions where for example its hot/humid in day then cool at night, and that moisture in the air then condenses on surfaces. Things just age faster in a garage. The cones/spiders deteriorate faster in those conditions.
