I’m looking into Strandberg guitars. Who’s played one and what do you think? How is it vs other headless guitars? What’s the neck like to play? $1500-$2500 seems like a lot of $$$ for a guitar built in Indonesia. What’s the quality and feel like? Any help would be appreciated. TIA. ✌️

I owned one of the very first Boden 6 produced overseas so I'm not sure how it compares to the new ones. I ended up selling mine. I enjoyed the lightweight and small size (wasn't hitting stuff with my headstock anymore), but the neck ultimately didn't work for me. For my playing technique (which may be bad ?‍♂️), it seemed like i could really feel the more squared off edges of the endurneck and my thumb didn't really follow the flat plane. I also didn't like the 20" radius either, which made playing barred chords difficult. It is such a unique design that I would suggest either finding one to try or plan on purchasing one with the intention of returning it. As for overseas quality, mine was good not spectacular, i don't have it to compare to anything else but maybe PRS SE quality. I didn't feel like it was on the same level as my made in the USA Washburn N4. Good luck.

I dunno…I REALLY like the designs, but I have a hard time with spending over $2k for and Indonesian made guitar. I know, I know, Indonesian factories have been making strides in the last 10 years, but still.

That being said, I super dig the tele version they make, but I probably wouldn’t buy an Indonesian model new. It seems they may have varying levels of quality, guitar-to-guitar.
