if you like everything else on the guitars why not just buy a Musikraft neck built to your specs?

I did just that as I love fat necks...I have 8 or 9 of them, with different fatter profiles, some C, son D some V to C etc. I like the look of old Charvel and Jackson strats but most have fairly thinner necks than I like
Yes as I said, thats an option, just tying to figure out what I want to do.

yeah, it has been an issue with me as well because I started out on baseball bat necks. Then most the shreddy guitars of the 80's & 90's were great guitars but most had thin necks. Those cramp up my hands after about an hour so. I really love the fatter LP 50's necks on the 57 RI's, I have a R7 and a BB7 and just feel great int he hand.

Speaking of Washburn, their mid-90's Mercury (MG) series that Grover Jackson designed had a fairly thick neck for a superstrat (if memory serves). They're great guitars (my first electric was a MG-44), can be had for a song on ebay and the USA models are supposed to be amazing.

Unfortunately, a lot of them have Gold Floyds :(

I have a Chicago-built MG-120, and it has the thinnest neck ever. Great guitar, but definitely not a very thick neck :)
