God, I need more pink sparkly guitars. Which guitar did you order?

Sully Conspiracy Series Elita 24. It got delivered earlier in the week; I'm contemplating bringing it to band practice tomorrow. Haven't given it much neck time just yet.

Oh god, my 6 year old would melt if that came out of my case when we play “what color guitar is daddy playing tonight” as I set up for each gig. Absolutely bad ass.

EZ decision for me.
I've enjoyed playing Sully's guitars.
They're absolutely fantastic.

I own a Suhr Modern, and would buy one again. And many other guitars before a Sully.
Suhr is a known brand, with great customer service and a huge fan base. An ez flip, without a huge loss.
The only way I'd buy a Sully, is if I planned to keep it forever.

There's a guitar that's been in the emporium since 2022, that I would love to have, by a builder with a great rep. Can't do it.
I don't buy a lot awesome, handmade guitars that I'd like to have, for the simple fact that I can't buy without playing first, or with the option to return, and I'd practically have to give it away if I decided to sell.

So I stick with what I know is financially safe.

I keep going back and fourth in what options I want. I’ve never had a Limba guitar, but I’m interested in one. Black limba looks cool at least.

I think this is going to be my build:

Sully USA Raven
6 string, Set neck, 25.5”scale
Black Limba Body
Waterfall Burl Maple top- finished in trans Neon Pink (prs calls it Bonnie Pink, but sometimes does “salmon” which adds neon orange as well) I want the top to be vibrant neon pink (Maybe even slightly lighter neon pink)
Natural back of the guitar
Highly figured and Roasted birdseye maple neck
Highly figured Birdseye maple fingerboard (not roasted)
Turquoise Hollow Block Inlays
Standard thin neck shape
22 SS extra jumbo frets
12-16 compound radius fingerboard with a heavy roll
White binding for the neck and headstock
HSH pickup configuration
Volume and PU selector switch moved closer to the bridge pickup (similar to a strat),
(2) 3-way mini switches, one for the neck humbucker and one for the bridge, able to switch between Series, Parallel, Split coil tones,
5-way PU selector switch
Gold Hardware
Top-Mounted (non recessed) Gotoh 510 bridge

I’ve attached some pictures of the style pink I’m going for. I also included 2 mockups from kiesel and balaguers online configurator. They’re not exact representations, but get in the ballpark.

What do you think?
