Yup. 95 percent of the people wandering the streets are assholes.

I bought a rack effects unit a week ago today. It just shipped today.

I sold the PRS 594 Thursday night and shipped it Friday morning.

That is when I say screw that seller and buy from someone else. There loss, not yours.

That's bullshit. I don't even advertise gear unless I'm committed to shipping within the hour.

What was your offer? I ignore people too, when their offer is ridiculous. What's the point, since most people lowball, and usually reject your counter offer anyway.

Again, what's the item, and what was your offer? Tell the whole story.

Seems fair from your end. If I sell something I have a price I'd be willing to take, and wait to see if someone offers..I'd counteroffer yours if I were the seller.....but apparently he doesn't really want to sell.

Amp was at $1800. I offered $1600 plus $50 shipping.

IMO this gives him room to come up and me not be too low to start a conversation with.

Try offering $1,625 and see if he counters or accepts. What were you willing to pay if he did counter back?

Actually, no matter where you are, you're no further than a stones throw distance from an asshole.

My friend coined that saying back in the early 90's... rings true.

God damn is this ever true. I have a $12 000 sled for sale up here in Canada on kijiji. I have about 12 people into it and I reply to every question in about 15 seconds time. I get replys about two to three days later, or none at all. I get offers of $10 500 , I reply well I ll throw in a $500 loud exhaust at $11 000, no reply at all??????? What the fuck?

This happened multiple times.

Like Slipknot named one of there songs:

PEOPLE=SHIT

Not everybody of course but you get my point............

Aren't you being a hypocrite? You post OBO and freak out on an offer you consider low, no counter offer, just BS posts!

Oh that's right, your the guy that offered me $1100 for a guitar I had listed at $2200...I would say that is STILL a dick move...
Total dick move. Now that's an offer that's not worthy of a response.

In all fairness I have been hypocritical my entire life.

FIXED.

There is no figuring out some sellers. I've got an original 1953 Les Paul Goldtop I'm trying to sell. I have a Gruhn appraisal for $17,500. People are offering me $10k. They're selling on Reverb for $15k and more.

For that amount of money I'll just hold onto it.

I feel the same way about sellers who post "feelers". If you don't want to sell your shit don't. But why waste your time posting it then get butthurt when I offer anything less than full fucking retail!?
