They aren't a Monopoly......

Or use Amazon business practices to destroy America such as SweetWater NVM they have nowhere near the same market share as SweetWater.

Its a good alternative too, you have Chicago Music Exchange too. Before here I would buy at GC or Mom and Pops too but yeah a lot of my Mom and Pops are gone and GC is good but I can get some decent deals on Zzounds sometimes too and I can afford it and it's easier for me to shop through Zzounds.

Zzounds has nowhere near the market share of a SweetWater..... It dwarves them and even GC and MF.

I only started shopping at Zzounds after everyone closed but most of the stuff I've bought before was also at GC.... Guess what though neither one are fucking Monopolies or were even with GC at the height of its power in its heyday.... MF too.... None of these places are Monopolies or close to it like Amazon/SweetWater :dunno:



Before too we used to have ABC Music Garden Grove, Mos Music in Fullerton, Jim's Music in Orange but yeah none of that is around anymore. Not even Sam Ash is around anymore..... In either case none of these places were Monopolies.

All these places closed down after the Pandemic as a result of SweetWaters dominance and market share in the industry and how they pretty much carved out the entire pie for themselves during the Pandemic......


Say what you will but hey atleast it's not SweetWater/Amazon or a Monolithic Monopoly and youre really missing the forest for the trees here :dunno:

Their market share is nowhere near that of SweetWaters when it comes to the sale of new guitars online or in general it seems nowadays. SweetWaters tentacles got all the pie or most of it pretty much sucking not just Mom and Pops dry but also Sam Ash which was a cool spot too IMO.


Yes these other places such as Zzounds, GC, MF, Musicians Friend etc etc may be Corporate but they aren't a Monopoly. Other places too like PitBull Audio are smaller and online but not a mega corp or a Monopoly.


Pretty much no one else contributed to the death of Mom and Pops and even Sam Ash more so than SweetWater due to their Amazon style business and Monopoly business model and making a little Venezuela/North Korea/China within America.....


None of these other places are Amazon/Sweetwater :dunno:
