Re: playing guitars through different amps; no help if Sweetwater is too far away but if you're close enough, they have an amp selection that you're free to try out. Not much high-dollar, no Mesas or AC30s but a good selection.
They have two walls of amp heads run into switchers, so you can choose which head to run into a few cabs. Last time I was there was October, 2025. The heads they had were Marshall 2555x, Friedman Plex, Soldano SLO-30, EVH ICONIC 100w and I forget what else. But there were plenty. They had plenty of used stuff in other areas and I think they'd let anyone wind them up hard, if they sounded serious. They have, I think, four small rooms for trying out combos or smaller heads. They don't carry super boutique stuff like Metropoulos or Germino.

Well that's a start.

The ad-hom between you two is getting pretty-tiring. Maybe give it a rest?
Youre right Brother Monkey and thank you for your understanding.

I felt bad about what I said and aside from the BS I said I really did mean to sincerely apologize.

Sorry again to Brother Smash/@S̷͖͑m̵͎͂á̵̺s̸͚̈́h̴̬̑ and I sincerely hope you had a great day despite the BS on my part and respect 🤗

Some have claimed recently that when you apologise you're not-genuine.

Exhibit A.

Peeps see what they want to see and as we know, when political biases are involved for example, there's nothing a certain president can do that'd elicit praise from those with TDS. He could walk on water and they'd say it was AI.

I'm all for peeps' getting carried-away and being passionate, but when it's called-for, only those with a modicum of decency can actually bring themselves to apologise.

"Rant" over.

Might as well take this opportunity to say this:

You wouldn't believe what proportion of members don't even bother to respond if I call them out, let alone leave a like or Heaven forbid, actually issue an apology.

Daniel stands out in this regard 'cause:
1) He's always complied.
2) He's never attempted to argue his way out of a directive.

To some including myself, such qualities are gold I tells ya, gold.

NVM no one here is talking about SweetWater here you know...... since they can't really put up any decent arguments to defend theirs and if they do..... Its like some argument with its foundations built on quicksand.....

Like so why are so many of these dudes.....

Acting like they are active members at TGP......

Hmmmmmmm..... Maybe keep that TGP crap..... At TGP you know. Lame :dunno:

What's that saying...

And a slide. How fun is that?

I'm with you MM, but at what point does one actually stop the offending behavior?
That might be why some question the validity of the apology.
If one is truly sorry, why do they keep repeating the offense?
He's young compared to us. Few of us managed to avoid repeated, often-impulsive mistakes as a part of the process of growing up.

Passion + impulsiveness + youth = repeated "mistakes".

Not making excuses; just spitballing a possible explanation. Ingrained habits can be hard-to-break.
