Talk to me about the D-Tuna and EVHs in general

It was that other d-tuna knockoff that made using E completely useless. You should be able to play a show switching between E and D using the fine tuner if needed without a problem.

I say "should" because some guitars just work better with it than others...and of course YMMV.

Could you pull up on a D-Tuna if you routed out more of the body? Is that the only thing that causes it (hitting the body)?

I'm now debating just doing a partscaster...
