See you're missing the EQ 200 in the loop. Can't miss that. God knows if you don't have complete control of every frequency at literally every fucking link in your signal chain you're a Rube who doesn't understand tone on the level of the greats.

I am squarely in the 'No Dimarzio' camp. Haven't tried them all by any means, but the more common/popular ones that I have tried didn't last long in my line-up. I have always found the mids to be a bit boxy and the highs to be a bit rolled off. But I will be the first to admit that the folks that love DiMarzios seem to have good tone across the board. So they obviously have figured out how to make them work - and work well - with all other variables in their respective set-ups.
