It interesting...The 80's metal thing was actually a little before my time in terms of interest in guitar player and those records. I was a young kind when ....And Justice for all hit the scene and that ignited my interest in "metal" guitar playing. As many know, if that was your scene, you had little interest in the "hair metal" thing. In fact most of us had harsh judgement of the entire gene. But being active at the board over the years has made me curious; so I went and investigated...Turns out that there is some really great songs, players and tone on many of the records discussed here. That said, I do get a little tired of the in depth discussions of every minor intricacy of EVH's rig.

That rig was definitely a vibe for the nu-metal types in the 90s and 2000s

but as much as I would love a NJ or US warlock, the ignitor and mock are my favorite BCRs
