Home chargers are a beautiful thing. Tesla recommends to have batteries above 20% during frigid cold weather. Wifeys T3 is at 56% so we should be good I'm thinking.

My neighbor has two Teslas so I asked him about what he does when it’s cold and he laughed and said “I read the manual”

For the life of me I can’t understand why people think it’s good idea to run ANYTHING on batteries or electricity for that matter when it’s cold. I mean if you need to rely on it.

That gets to the heart of it. Status is more important than survival to some people.

On that same day, I stopped off at the local Quick Trip to fill up my car. Went through the drill with the credit card and the pump gave me about $1.25 worth and quit. I went inside to let the people know there was an issue with the pump I was on and the lady said, you got more than most. Everyone else maybe got a few cents worth. All of their pumps were frozen.

What's it like having a radical homosexual as a neighbor?
He’s a really good dude. About 85 years old, stupid wealthy but still shovels his own front steps after snow storms.
He has a sweet model-t too. My girls love going for rides in it.

Well if he’s got the money for toys have fun! Sounds like a good neighbor.

I would rock that cybertruck. But I would have my buddy mod it. I would install a fuel cell and a couple generators. He could figure out that shit quick. If I could get one at a reasonable price that is. 4x4 and 0-60 in 4 seconds….yeehaaawww…
