Well, it's been a few weeks and I've finally got the VH4 broke in.
Running it with 6L6Cs, the old Alesis Quadraverb, and the Rocktron Midimate pedal. I am totally blown away by the tone quality and the versatility of this amp. I sat down and figured out how the run all the loops properly and store them to the midi pedal. I can't say enough good things about these amps and the amount of work/thought that the folks at Diezel had to have put into the construction and design of these amps. I have my clean on channel 1, lo gain on channel 2, hi gain on channel 3, and lead gain on channel 4 with "wet" copies of each channel (using the send 2 setting) as well. I am able to do all of the things that I have always needed to be able to do in a live setting with one amp, one pedal, and one guitar.
Thanks again to Brad and Mr. Diezel (and Lars...whoever he is...he seems to have been the sales person in Germany?) for making this amp available. This is the most I have played guitar in the last 6, 7 years. That's a big deal to me, coming from a long line of tone chasers. Later!
