The bum brothers are in lock step again this morning.

“The U.S. average gas price is $3.75 per gallon. And, while Americans are 34th on the list of sheer prices, when you factor in our country’s high-income levels and wealth relative to this price, the United States has the fourth-highest gasoline affordability rating on the globe (that is, one gallon of gas costs only a tiny fraction of our average daily income).”

Okay, but so what ? Just because gas is cheaper here than in Europe we should happily pay an extra dollar a gallon over what it was 3 years ago ?

They practically give that shit away in Saudi Arabia.

And if you look at the premise of the article you quoted and put it in context we don't even break the top ten.

Yea #34 overall
While there are certainly political factors to why gas is more now than 3 years ago, you should also consider that everything is more expensive than 3 years ago, by almost 15%.

Media tells the masses inflation is negligible and falling. And, no, a lot more than 15%. Go lighter on the kool-aid.

Yep check out housing, rental, fuel, food costs. You must use the official Government Calculator. I use my own.
Interesting. So the high gas prices have less to do with the change in import/exporting of oil than I was once led to believe.
My house value has doubled since 2020. Total bullshit

Supply and demand- try to keep up. If your House price has doubled- that is more than 15% correct Einstein?

I don’t love the sarcasm but I appreciate you proving my point for me.
