The Blue Fez Over-Drive

After doing some research late into the night on these I'm kind of leaning towards Blue Fez/Ethos circuit. Some digging seems to suggest that the end result of the prince of tone will be very similar to the Gladio and Blue Note i.e soft clipping vs the preamping of the ethos in spite of the different diodes. Any thoughts on that Waynzo?

The Ethos has a shit ton of gain ........... I even brought the gain back substantially .... and if your not careful with your settings you can still get it to oscillate

I would call the circuit more a distortion than a OverDrive ...

The Purple Fez / Prince of Tone will be ready today or tomorrow ... I'm finishing off a bunch of stuff this weekend ... including a Maxon OD880 , Maxon SD-9 .... Griffin Anolog Buffer / Line Driver ( the infamous Cornish Buffer ) and I think a few other things ...

I would think the Prince of Tone would work out a lot better for you over the TWE ..... unless you're moving over to Alan Holdsworth kind of stuff

Yeah but is the P.O.T close enough to the Gladio and Blue Note to the point where it will be redundant? I guess I could make Jose drop by with his KOT so I could give it a rip. It's going to be a minute before I can throw money at this...

I watched a Shawn Tubbs video demoing the TWE into a Suhr Bella which is some sort of modded bandmaster. He was using a Collings I35 (a similar semi hollow) and it seemed like when he was riding his volume control (which is my game) it cleans up pretty nicely. I might risk it. Any chance you could dial back the gain a little further on mine? I'm just putting all this out here since whatever I end up with will make up the majority if not all of my tone on the next record. I don't wanna mess your ears up while you're listening at work.
